The NDC-4 is an NMEA 0183 multiplexer that can combine up to 4 inputs into two separate NMEA 0183 output streams to two listeners (receiving devices). It also has a bi-directional USB connection. All input ports can handle data at up to 38,400 baud for compatibility with AIS receivers.

The two outputs can be set at different baud rates for maximum system flexibility.

The USB port is USB v1.1, compatible with v2.0. A PC software package is included, for use in configuring the NDC-4.

The NDC-4 provides full optical isolation on all connections, protecting your equipment against voltage spikes and conforming to the requirements of the NMEA 0183 standard v3.01.

The unit has a sealed case and waterproof grommets.
