Description: The MV-158 marine AIS/VHF antenna is a 3 1/2 foot compact stainless steel whip antenna is specifically designed for AIS and marine VHF receivers and transponders. The antenna's features include a 6 dB gain, mounting bracket and a 24 foot coax cable terminated with a PL259 connector on one end to connect to the antenna and a male BNC connector on the other end to connect to an AIS device with a female BNC antenna port.
This antenna can be used without any additional adapters with all Comar and Smart Radio AIS Receivers and Transponders.
